The Gulf Coast will be filled with Trop Rock music and island spirit Oct. 21-25 as Meeting of the Minds brings five days of performances, showcases and special events to Gulf Shores and nearby Perdido Key.

Wednesday, Oct. 21 (Kickoff for Meeting of the Minds)
Wednesday begins at Shrimpy’s Grill & Golf with the Celebrity Drink & Putt from 10 a.m. to noon. Confirmed participants include Renee Adams, Eric Erdman, Mike Nash, Dan Sullivan, Brooke Graham, Christopher Dale and Dave Freeman.
At the Embassy Suites Coastal Ballroom, “Oysters & Pearls: Treasures & Tales from the Life of Jimmy Buffett” runs from 5-7 p.m. The special ticketed presentation features producer and stage manager JL Jamison alongside musician, Coral Reefer and Grammy-nominated songwriter Will Kimbrough. General admission is $20, with tickets available through MOTM.rocks.
The evening moves to The Hangout, where Jerry Diaz performs on the Mermaid Stage from 5:30-7 p.m., followed by a Buffett Tribute Show on the Main Stage from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
