Jimmy Buffett Fans Return to Gulf Shores for the Annual “Meeting of the Minds”

Gulf Shores, AL — The official Jimmy Buffett fan club, Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc., with more than 200 sanctioned clubs and over 20,000 members worldwide, is flocking back to Gulf Shores, Alabama for five days of music, games, and charity giving. The Annual “Meeting of the Minds” returns for the third year, bringing Parrot Heads from around the globe to celebrate their love of music, community, and giving back.
Event Highlights:
Wednesday, October 22 – Kickoff event open to the public.
Thursday, October 23 – Sunday, October 26 – Weekend and newly available Day Passes.
This year’s festival will feature live performances from The Landshark Band, Wheeland Brothers, Jesse Rice Band, Homemade Wine Reunion, Grammy Award–winning artist Gramps Morgan, and many more. Events will be hosted at iconic venues including The Hangout, LuLu’s, and the Flora-Bama Lounge, transforming Gulf Shores into a tropical paradise.
Party with a Purpose
Parrot Heads know how to have fun, but giving back is always at the heart of the celebration. Last year, fans raised more than $37,000 for local and national charities. This year’s charitable efforts will include:
Shoe and Toy Drive
Special Coral Reefer Show featuring Peter, Jim, and Brendan Mayer at the South Baldwin Community Theater (benefiting the Lone Palm Foundation)
Blood Drive at The Hangout (October 23–25)
Skip, Sip, and Party at LuLu’s – 5K run and Second Line tribute to Jimmy Buffett in support of local breast cancer patients
Parrot Heads on Brasway at Flora-Bama (October 26) in support of breast cancer patients
In 2024 alone, Parrot Heads raised $21,405 to support breast cancer patients and donated thousands more to local and national causes.
New This Year: Day Passes!
For the first time ever, Day Passes will be available to the public starting Thursday, October 23. Passes can be purchased at the registration table at The Hangout.
